I don't lack knowledge in the art of words,
I'm simply verbally challenged.
If it seems I'm sometimes wordy here,
know that, face to face and in the moment,
I may think of just twelve words to say.
With the spoken word
I say what comes to mind,
and never as charming
as I wish I would have written them.
With the written word
I say what's in my mind,
and always as eloquently
as I wish I could have spoken them.
