The world is changing. There will be life changing events soon to follow, and many heroes will rise and fall. It all comes down to us and how we live our lives. I once read about a boy who charged after an infantry of soldiers when they were invading his village. He charged at them screaming and holding his fist high. He was the only one fighting for his home. As soon as he reached the infantry, he was slain by gun fire. The boys village was burned, and everyone killed. The onslaught finished, the soldiers returned to the boy and gave him (and only him) a proper buriel. Though the boy fallen and the village destroyed, the soldiers felt the power of this one little boy and his courage. I guess what I'm trying to say is that boy was a hero, yet there wasn't a hero to save him and his village. I would, without a doubt in my mind, have done exactly what the boy had done. we can all be a hero to one another. shoulder to shoulder, back to back, this is the time to come together, and be a hero for eachother. There are many wars going on right now, and so many lives being taken. I guess it's always been this way, so it will never change.
I just wanted to write this as a thank you to everyone I have met on this site. It's been an "experience" trying online dating and networking. After months and months of no luck, I've decided that I'm not going to find that person here. She's somewhere else. I also wanted to tell everyone here good luck and I hope you find that right one. As for me, I've decided to stick my head out into the real world and take my chances. It's a risk, but I think it's the right choice for me. I've had my share of love and heartache in the past, and I was afraid to go back. Now I know that there is no avoiding it. If you want something, you're gonna have to take everything it comes with, be it good or bad. I learned that nothing and no one is perfect, and that's (how the say) ...is that. I have asked a lot of people this question:"Would you want the power to turn back time?" It's suprising to me how many people have said no. Though it is a wise decision, I can't say the same. If I had this power I would go back to when I met my first love. I would relive every moment of my time with her, and when it's over...I'd go right back to the beginning. I would repeat it over and over. Forever. I know it sounds childish, but I guess I'm just a childish immature boy...who misses that feeling. The feeling of being everything, of having a meaning in this world. My main motifation, my breath of fresh air. ...my light. I pray that all of us find what we are looking for. It seems like only yesterday I was the center of someones world. Being wrapped up in school and work can take it's toll when time is steadily passing by. the girls of yesterday, gone but remembered. the girl of tomorrow, I'm prepared to make happy. It all comes down to how you want to spend your life. Do you want to be happy? Do you want to be successful? ...or maybe just be loved? Everyone wants and needs different things, but one thing is for sure...I need the one who will give my life meaning. Although we all come to this site looking for that special someone, no one can tell if it is the true solution to our lonely problems. ...If she is here, on this site, I write this remainder to her.
