My dad has a bad back, my mom has a bad back, my uncle has a bad back, my grandfather had a bad back, now I do. I believe it is my job, not my genes that is hurting my back (I do wear a backbrace now) since I do lift some heavy things, and now my boss just makes sure I am careful. I went bowling last night for the first time in 6 months due to the pain in my back, and I paid for it today. My friend says it is my form (maybe it is). I am only 28 years old and I may not be able to do things I really want to do if the pain is persistant. I do go to the gym and try to do exercises to stregthen my back muscles and I go for massages as well (I wish they weren't so expensive). I just hope that I can stregthen my back enough to continue bowling because I do love to bowl, hopefully it is my form. Believe me, it is very easy to hurt your back.
I always think of Memorial Day as a day I go to the cemetery and visit my grandfather's grave because he was a WWII veteran and his birthday sometimes falls on Memorial Day. Then I go over to my family's house and see hot dogs, hamburgers and even steaks! I know Memorial Day is about the veterans, but it is hard to think of them when you are stuffing your face with food. This is what America is all about on holidays, food. I guess I can't blame them for focusing on food all the time, but don't forget the true meaning of the holiday. Remember the veterans as well before you pick up that cheeseburger or helping of potato salad.
I have noticed in the past few weeks there have been a lot of scams around. I read the scam warning as I joined this site today and it is pretty sad what some people do to others. I also have noticed they prey on the desparate types (me). I can't say I blame them because I am a sucker for any attention. I am more alert now of these scams and what they look like. Like they say if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. You can find someone online that will make you happy, my friend did and she has been with this guy for over a year. I have met someone online before as well, but it just didn't work out. There is somewhere out there for everyone, but there is also someone out there preying. Be aware of that, I know I am. I hope to find that someone soon.
