I have a love for firemen and cops...lol..guess because my father was on the fire dept here in our hometown for 15 yrs...I am very passionate towards these men for what they do... I wrote this yrs ago for my dad and now I would like to share with you....Enjoy!!!!!
The alarm goes off the gear goes on
Its time to go to work
Someones in trouble and needs our help
And we dont question why
For its our job to fight the fires and to
Try and save some lives.
A child is trapped the chief yells
So we go in and bring that baby out.
The fire is out the child is safe our job
Here is complete but across the town
We may have to do a repeat.
We dont ask for very much
Just every once in a while
A pat on the back to let us know
Our job is worthwhile.
