Hi, well I've never done one of these before so I'm not sure what form it will take.
A little about me first (just in case you can't be bothered to read the profile :p)
I live on the sunny isle of Cyprus and have done for 6 years. I have been seperated for a little over a year, have 1 daughter and 2 beautiful grandchildren who are in the UK. I have a job I love and some wonderful friends on the island :)
So what to write about? Well maybe all the distrous dates I've had since stepping back into the dating world and boy have there been a few!
The last one was last Friday night when I had arranged to meet for a drink someone I'd been chatting to on another site. As I had already made plans for later in the evening I explained this and the guy was fine.
Well coffee was fine, we chatted and laughed, all going good me thinks so decided to ask if he would like to join myself and some friends at the club we were going to.
Off we all go and arrive to find the club almost empty, the Dj's were friends so we had to stay a while.
Shortly after arriving I turned to the bar and to my horror saw this young (rather large) girl up on the bar wiggling her hips and doing what she thought was a sexy dance. Great me thinks, a first date and a brill first impression! It got worse, the dancing dolly decided to do a very slow strip tease! By now I am beetroot red and don't really now what to say to my date. He just looked at me and laughed but as he did so his jaw dropped, I turned to look and behind me were 2 other young girls in gold and silver lame bikinis! Could this night get any worse? Oh yes!!! Before we could make our escape 2 young gay guys got onto the bar and started some very explicit moves.
With this my date and I beat a path to the exit!
It was very funny looking back and at least I can say expected the unexpected if you want a date with me but maybe I can leave the strippers for date number 5 or 6 next time? Not sure it gives the best first impression on a first date
