Real men?

While searching profiles on this site I have observed that many men have not uploaded a photo. Dissapointing. These are profiles I will not read, even though they actually interest me.
Another thing I have discovered is that there are many men who have created a profile here for entertainment only, they are fishing to see what they will hook, but have no interest in relationships or in friends, or communication.
Then there are scammers, I exchanged emails with one for several days. I was giving him a chance to prove he was a real man and would write something intelligent, communicative and revealing, but his messages were senseless spammy content: flattering, promises, encouragements, pleasantries, and questions as to how I was doing financially.
I have not yet recieved an email from someone who is appealing to me, who thinks I am real hot and exactly what they wanted, and hopes to get into a long-term relationship. Will it ever happen?
