why is it that a lot of younger men want to date older women?

I find the same thing and part of it may be that they like what an older woman has to offer. Older women are usually over the drama and you know how much guys (young and old) hate the drama. Many older woman will are more settled and don't necessarily need a man to take care of them, they like having someone around so the pressure is off to get married, settle down and have kids.

For the most part guys my age like to find a woman that is settled down. In the same respect we should be as well. I don't believe many women want to try and settle down with someone who isn't on the same track as them. It is kind of backwards seeing as how women mature faster. Then again it's just one mans opinion.

i think its out of convenience... older women usually dont expect as much in regards to finances and material possessions from a younger man. Women tend to go for older men if they're looking for security and if there down to earth and just wanna have fun they'll entertain hanging out with a younger guy. and men will go with anything that looks good and there are def some older women that look good! this is my perception and opinion from my experience...
