Just come straight out and ask him and tell him your feelings.
If he really loves you. Then He will do what he can to make you stay with him and beleave it.

Julie, your story is reminding me of my ex-husband and me. Before I would comment any further I would have to know if you honestly feel it was a very happy relationship at one time? Any kids involved?

dad11months, may I respectfully say that that doesn't always work. Some guys feel really pressured when confronted about their feelings and it makes them even more distant. Even if HE does what he can to make her stay does he really mean it or just a control tactic. It's the silence and the arguing over petty things that concerns me too. Julie has he ever hit you?

Its simple.
Confront him directly with this issue, tell him what your feeling and let him know you are beginng to think something is very wrong, tell him something needs to be done, I am not happy, we use to be different and I was happy, maybe go get some counciling.
Now, if he totally shines you after this, I don't know what to tell ya other than its very possible the love has left him and maybe he wants out, maybe he is allready with someone.
Communication is the bottom line, if you get no communication then you will never get anywhere, its like tring to ride a dead horse, you'll go no where.
I am a guy, this has been my experience, I have actually been on both sides, I've done it and I've had it done to me. (by a Woman of course)
