The other way of looking at it is that we still have 90% employment, prices are falling, interest rates are falling and we don't have to listen to people telling us how much their houses cost and it's deeply unfashionable to own an 09 car.
The less money you spend the worse the recession gets!
I never buy bread. I get a 2 kilo bag of wholemeal brown mix for just over 2 euro and can make 4 loafs from it. That is the only real cut back of mine! lol I will become more careful with quantities of food. I dump so much unused. Although nothing is packaged for one person! Damn, I need to find a woman so I can save money

The recession will be good for us. We will become leaner and meaner. Able to perform better. The cream will rise to the top and take us by the short and curleys into a new age of a more fair and equal society. We will be a dinamic economy with waste and greed banished for ever. New statesmen/women will come forward and take on the responcibillity for creating a new country that will shine on the edge of europe and will be a beacon of hope for the world.
