I wrote for you a song, not knowing much of anything.
Unlike you said, I've seen enough to know a little;
To know familiar...to want someone.
I wrote for you these words, with hope you would listen.
It's not very ong till the end; not long at all;
To know the feel...to know that much
In a crush
I wished to keep this short, cause it's late and someone said
thought is a bird of space that in a cage of words may
indeed unfold its wings, but cannot fly.
I wrote for you a song, knowing bits of certain things.
What I give to you, I don't ask for in return
Sometimes it's good to hear something unfamiliar.
When I look at you I get lost inside.
With no prose to hide behind
Just an unfamiliar feeling I wish I knew more about.
The way I wish I knew more about you.
To come out from hiding behind a crush and know familiar.
