I enjoy the humor threads but not to the point where the humor is at someone elses expense(like the mean and hurtful kind of humor where someone is making fun of someone who overweight, their looks etc.

venere08: Hi Merc, how are you, matey?!

Don't you just love doing that? Jump on a thread where you haven't a clue what the topic means, or make head or tail of the posts so far?

(that's me most of the time, and that's why I'm posting here! )

I like to post topics that will catch ones eye. Once I lure them in, i enjoy being creative and trying to secretly get folks to name others that they may be interested in but are to afraid to email someone. say if you were too shy to let start a conversation, my post would at least let the other person know you were thinking about them. so many feelings go unspoken and love is lost. i also like positive threads and trying to help others while remaining neutral, trying to get that person to see "the other side of things" cool

In response to: I often see posters on here criticizing the threads that are put up. Although I have been know to respond to serious issues, I find it hard to resist an opportunity for a little humor. I read many of the threads and not contribute if I find them offensive or totally off the wall. What are your favorite types of threads?

Those that identify a 'inappropriate situation' in the society, and give causes and /or possible answers to correct the situation
