it is hard enough for people who are going the party on saturday to see sean and yvonne and celebrate, without been labeled as well.its like were back in school..
i am not new to this site,i just havent met anyone yet...and if people who joined before me keep calling me and others "NEWBIES"..i dont think we ever feel at ease to meet anyone...
just had to get that off my chest as its very annoying and the moment i see the word i instantly feel uneasy going anywhere..and i know there are others feel the same !!!!!
how about firstys seriouly nothing degrotory meant just a net expression for new people attending meets you get it in any chat site but if it bothers you that much il try to restrain myself saying it

its just like something that takes me back to school, when i started as the new girl,i was terrified because everyine said i was the new girl...i know im not the only one that feels the same..
its just hard enough doing this sort of thing without feeling i need to wear a name tag ....
as i said just a expression to describe people who might be new and nervous meeting for first time we just use that expression to say we got to m,ake sure we meet new people and make sure they are comfortable and is introduced to everyone newbies just shotened version hard enough typing with 1 finger without some shotcuts
and yea i got to agree wit u there... when i was here first, i found i actually hard to fit in, especially with the newbie tag hanging around my neck for a while, and wasa bit intimadating tryin to fit in when everyone else knew each others name and stuff.. bt i sure after the party on sat, u wont be considered, or called, a newbie anymore...

Hi there, OP..and everyone here..
Ive just joined CS (hence not having a photo up yet!), and I dont like this "Newbie" tag either, personally. Ive seen it used alot, and it does make it sound like you are trying to enter the nearest Masons Lodge, or some other select club!!..
Just worried about what the inniciation ceremony might entail..
Why not just say "recent joiners", or the "fresh faces" or something??
