I've solved it already - the wording is the key.
Each guy has a dollar... 3x1 = 3.
Hotel clerk has an absolute 25, nothing to dispute there.. 25
2 dollar tip.. 2
25+3+2 = 30.00

a second guy came at the motel and rent a room for the night the clerk said 10$ a third guy came at the motel and rent a room the clerk said 10$ anyway's the motel made 30$ for the night the boss came and said to the clerk tonight it was 9$ so he gave him 5$ and said go give them the diffrences in the elevator the clerk said to him self since i can't seperated the 5$ in 3 i'll take 2$ and give them 1$ each ok now 3x9 is 27 plus the 2 dollar the clerk have in his pocket is 29 where is the other dollar missing
can you solve the problem here.....
