Marie you are going to have to share your recipes .... it sounds like you are a wonderful cook .... and have lots of experience especially if you've made 100 apple pies for just one Christmas. Yummy is all I can imagine.

sorry langley i can't give you the recipes i just do the dough without mesuring but here's the ingrediants
for the dough

flour
butter yellow one
tenderflake or crisco but tenderflake's better
magic powder
salt
sugar
water

cut your apple in big pieces so it won't be muchy. add sugar and cinnamon on your apples and cover with second dough.
20 min in oven at 300 aprox.take the cookie cutter for the top dough for decoration.and your 2 thumb all away around the plate to make wave it's cuter.......lolangel angel angel

Thanks Marie ... I'll give it a try ..... and I understand about not measuring the ingredients because alot of time its by the taste and texture. You only cook it for 20 minutes?? I think its usually about an hour isn't it?

I appreciate you sharing .... I am curious as to what "butter yellow one" is though I'm not familiar with that ... is it a type of flour? As well I'm assuming that "magic powder" is baking powder - is that correct?

robin hood is better for flour
yellow butter give just coulor to your dough "margarine" is ok.
well we was starting in mid november to do our pies so we baked half time cause we frozed them after mom baked some for christmas another 10 15 min but if you don't froze them 30 35 mins will be good enough

but hope you don't do alot like mom used to do angel angel angel

Lol .... its funny because it reminds me of my mom making cookies ..... she used to make dozens of cookies and put them into ice cream 4 litre pails and freeze them. She would make all different kinds and we would have about 75 buckets - it was great!!

Thanks for the tips I appreciate you sharing and I'm gonna bake a pie now for sure .... apple is one of my favorites along with lemon merguine.
