Hi Rob. Yeah, it seems to be a botched up patch. It would'nt let me go in to check mail from messeger- do it from your internet browser instead mate

If your trying to get into it through Windows Messenger and it wont connect to your email page, try logging in by clicking on 'sign-in' on your internet explorer bar. Failing that, you could always try doing a 'system restore' to the point before you updated windows.white_satin

i had to configurate my whole computer a we while back then and lost everything on my computer and now it wont do anything properly. and it wont connect to windows messenger at all.

The only thing I can suggest is that you format the hard drive and if you have all the original installation disks, reinstall everything afresh. (Just make sure your internet isnt on or it might try to update everything as your installing all the components and screw things up.Sometime windows live mail crashes for a few hours for everybody. Just give it time. Servers are just down but if you want to check your mail got to hotmail.com
