I met A woman on CS and we did the long distance thing for quite some time now. I have tried everything to make it work but it always goes sour. I am done beating a dead horse! Has anyone on here been through this? I'm back on CS still looking for the Right woman.

Well the best thing you can do is work on yourself and when that "special" woman comes into your life then hopefully you will have a better chance of making the relationship work. That's what I'm trying to do for myself so that I'm attracting "healthy" people to me because in the past it seems that "together" we haven't had a good relationship.

So my thoughts these days is I'm leery of people who fall into "love" so quickly especially on here ..... the commitment level and true understanding of love makes me wonder sometimes because they fall in "love" and then two weeks later or a month or two down the road they dump you. So I'm personally looking for someone that can actually take the time to get to know me and have a true friendship grow. It seems to be a difficult proposition because everyone wants love to be immediate. Being on here is certainly not the same as real life as well - because people can "hide" alot of stuff. So being yourself (warts and all) and being real are important ..... its not a matter of everyone being your friend ... its a matter of you finding a mate if that's truly what you desire.

As for kicking a dead horse - I'd rather not because I still believe that people are genuine and seriously looking for love otherwise I wouldn't be here in the first place. I know my heart and what I want ...... its just a matter of being persistant and not giving up and then making sure that I work damn hard to keep it.

Good answer! I am always working on myself and how I can be a better person to my friends, family, and to myself. Don't always see it right away but I keep an open mind about it and admit when i'm wrong....Sure instant love would be awsome! I took a chance on a person, not love. Love comes if the person is right for you. If we don't take that chance then we might as well delete our profiles, and question what we are doing here in the first place.
