amahlala: I find the aspect of the theme more thought-provoking than I do disturbing. The idea of fearing death so much that you lock your soul away - can never see yourself - and live a life that is empty and devoid of love and/or happiness - I wonder how many people would be willing to live that way?
Not me for one!
To me there is nothing as wonderful in this world as sharing the joy of living and the enormous love and gratitude for being alive.
To awake each morning to a unique sunrise always cheers my heart - and the times of being alone are not suffering but merely 'resting' between periods of intense mind-blowing love that makes life so worthwhile.
To appreciate beauty in almost everything is something we sometimes need to learn - that there is beauty even in perceived ugliness......... and even a cockroach is a beautiful and efficient creation - and a sad old man walking along the road with a stick has known joy even if he nolonger feels it at a particular moment in time.
Remember the joy and wonderment of being a kid and being amazed at a blade of grass?
We need to refind the wonder of youth to really appreciate the joy of living!
