Dan Breen - Old Irish Republican Army member (The ones that didnt bomb innocents) I'm not suprised by all the 'Great Irish people' that my fellow paddys have mentioned. Micheal Collins being named the most even though he was the main person involved in signing away part of the country to the people that he was fighting against in the first place and whos army went around murdering all the men that stood together to fight the invaders. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the man but there were far better men and women fighting for Ireland whos names Irish people don't know. Dan Breen on the other hand, along with other men like Sean Treacy were the ones that renewed the fight to free the country when most others did nothing. He fought the British until the treaty and then fought the Free State Army when they started murdering men who fought for Ireland with the guns that were given by the British. Rant over
