I got the following as an e-mail from a friend:

Dear K.,

We are indeed pleased to inform you that your introduction paid off. We are getting married. We don't have a lot of money so you will only be invited to the church service. Leave a contribution at the entrance. Nothing less than $500.00. We have invited enough persons whose contribution would amount to what we need to pay the flowerist.

If you decide you must come to the reception, please leave $800.00 (about $10US) at the reception area. We thought we would ask for more but seeing that you will have to bring your own food we said screw that. Select which ever song you would like, just drop some coins in the machine after you have slotted your choice, the machine also does Karaoke (only for a few extra bucks). Do the Karaoke thing, don't be cheap. Besides you have a beautiful voice and we did not get to hire a singer for the night. If during the reception you run out of food, refreshments will be on sale to the left of the main table where you can also purchase pictures for the occassion and a piece of our wedding cake (we still owe the caterers).

For a picture with the Bride or groom.....$500.00 , the entire family...$100 per member and by the way, very important, the security guard will not let your car out throught the gate until you surrender your gift at the secuity post. Persons who walked can't come in til they drop off their presents. It better be expensive. Please print and forward this to all our friends, we are trying to save paper. See list attached.

By the way...parking will however be free.

Please note that we included all our friends in every aspect of our wedding plans cause you mean so much to us.

I just had a good laugh. I don't believe anyone would really do this.

That's too funny. Yes, I would go and take some KFC. haha. I once went to a wedding where we got an extremely small amount of food to eat and all us at the table were discussing whether we would go to burgerking, KFC, Subways etc. If they had warned us like these guys that would have been good, hahaha

Well next time I am sure you will be better prepared.
