paws2: In reference to my earlier thread, "Mr. President....", I was born June 9th, 1945, the end of WW2. By the time I was 5, we were involved in N. Korea. Since then I don't believe that more than 5 years have passed in my life where either the USA/Canada has not been involved in a theatre of war somewhere. Canada for the most part played the part of peace-maker in most troubled areas. We were known throughout the world as Peace-makers. Under our conservative government for the past several years, we have joined the ranks of war makers. Shame on us.
