My ex hubby and I met at a New Years Party in my flat when I heard noises coming from my flatmates (male) room. Knowing he was at work I opened the door and found his "girlfriend" trying to open a guys jeans and he was shouting at her to get away from him!!! I rescued said guy and threw said "girlfriend" out on her ear after giving her a very loud piece of my mind.....said guy was really shook up and went home white as a ghost as he had to work with said girl and she had been trying to corner him for weeks apparently.
He was so appreciative of my rescue mission that when I ran into him the next night in town he bought me a drink to say thankyou....we ended up sitting in Abra till 4am chatting and thats how things progressed with us .... and lasted nearly ten years lol
Funny thing is now that girl is living in the estate behind me and her "husband" has terrible wandering eyes and hands from what I hear so I'm happy to know that what goes around comes around (not in a vindictive way though) and we always used to chuckle when we thought at how annoyed she would be if she knew that what she did resulted in us getting together
