a syndicate of people i know are lumping on cork for the football and tipp for the hurling... so am i, even a friend of mine plays on the limerick senior team, hes even placing a bet on them.. thats showing something.. even though limerick should have won the munster final..
Cork are a big physicial team,and they can match any of the big teams and beat them,Kerry is their bogey team, and i guess Cork are Tyrone s bogey team,these teams will be there in 2010,1 of them will lift Sam,my belief if Tyrone get back the hunger,some more players,with the old guard and their experience,they will be very hard to beat,
HI,Cavan hav 39 Ulster titles, 5 All Irelands,they dominated Ulster 1 time,Imagine appearing in 20 ulster s on the trot,a proud Sleeping Giant,it would be great to see them back up there especially in Ulster,maybe in a few years,Tyrone never beat Cavan till 56 in an ulster final,a good Donegal man Martin mc hugh led Cavan to their last ulster in 1997,before that it was 1969,

Well If I was a betting man I would go for Cork in the Football and Tipp in the hurling.

limerick are a very dogged team, but are very wasteful in front of goal... should have beat kerry a few years back , they got a lucky replay... just dont have that killer instinct or that bit of class that kerry and cork have, but a tough team to beat..
I think,Martin mc Hugh says things to drive a team on,its like Column o rourke saying years ago about Brian Dooher was useless and should not hav been on the Tyrone team,and Dooher proved him wrong, i know today maybe Dooher s best years are over,as was shown against Cork,

Sorry but they beat a college team in the McKenna Cup. I wouldnt take any bit of notice of that. Limerick beat a college team 3-9 to 0-6 with half a team, they also played great. Championship is the real deal.

by that logic the dubs were great with an experimental team ..... beat wexford by 8 points ...... but gilroy even laughed wen he was asked "wat next for dublin" the league hasnt even started yet ..... and robs right the championship is the one that counts not training exercises for bigger counties against lesser opposition

Cork for the football, agreed.. my money is going on them. And brian sheehan was stretchered off for kerry the weekend, his season could be over already.

Lol, yes i hav,hav seen them over the last 10 years and the lows and highs,well hav followed a lot of the Ulster teams,and its only the last few years we hav anything to shout about,and who knows that could be about to end,when i was younger loved Dublin, KERRY,never thought an ULSTER TEAM would take KERRY, DUBLIN,APART LIKE TYRONE,once there was CAVAN,DOWN,then Down,DONEGAL,DERRY,ARMAGH.now Tyrone hav been up there for a while.its amazing how KERRY always are there or there abouts,but how low DUBLIN has become no ALLIRELAND since 1995,More Threads
