Darn right he was right to.
No player is bigger than the managaer, if thats the case why bother with a manager.
Just because cork did it, they think they can do it.

Hows rob.Yea just said Id see peoples opinions.I agree with you as for a long time limerick hurling stoped only to bring people from certain parishes and who their dad was was so to speak. But now the new limerick team is spread out to the ends of it province.Nice to see guys from my parish and surrounding areas picked. But thought he could have kept some older players to help break in the new team but them again maybe he did and they walked

that is a hard 1,the manager has to be listened to,plus the players should hav some say,Donegal players were at that to,its better if the players listened to the manager, and they should,in a lot of counties its who u are etc,to get on the team, thats wrong, then u can hav good players trying to tell the manager what to do,he tells them its his way, they leave, the team loses out, think they all hav to play as a team and for the county, parish, and do as the manager says.

he was 100% right and i just hope the limerick county board has the balls to support him all the way and not bottle it and bow down like the cork county board last year, if you are lucky enough to be chosen to have the honour to represent your county on the playing field you should respect the appointed manager and do your best,, look at laois a few years back in the football,, great minor teams , won a host of all irelands and when they got to senior level had mick o dwyer as manager,, lost a close fought semi final to an almighty armagh team containing half the all ireland club champions crossmaglen and rather than put their heads down and get into training for next year they told micko ,, probably the greatest manager ever in gaa that he was training them wrong and that it was his fault they had lost,, see where laois are now....
