Was planning to do it this year but doc says no.. too much too soon (damn ticker). So aiming to do a 5k later in the year and mini marathon next year.

Apparently there is a 5k in Wexford in august or september. A girl in work does it every year. Don't know the details yet.
Doc said I can work up to 5k this year but 10k is too much for now. Considering I only managed 5 mins 36 seconds on treadmill during my stress test last year... she could be right.
i took part in it a few years ago, was a great experience! it took us 2 hrs 2 mins exactly! we walked it and was great to see many doing it, even a few lads dressed as women which was funny!

Ive rang ispca so im gonna raise money for the animals
have sent away my fourm and have also signed for the spca have chose the dog t-shirt as a dog i had for over 16yrs died last summer
