Hey,I`m thinking of learning to play the Guitar,
Just wondering if anyone could reccomend either electric or accoustic,
Which would be easier to learn on

I would recommend you start off on a acoustic thats where most would start then if you like it you can get the electric head banger

the only thing about acoustic guitars is that the neck is alot thicker then the neck of electric guitar's and it can be hard to play some chords..

learn with an accoustic first and then buy an eletric that way
if you dont get with the cords then its not a great expense.

electric is easier for chords, but if u can learn some stuff on acoustic first it will give u a good starting base for both...

best of luck tho and if u need any help just give me a shout .

Deciding acoustic or electric would to some degree depend on the style of music you want to be able to play on the guitar.

I assume you don't have a guitar at the moment, for acoustic guitars: would be a good place to start.

for electric guitars:

cheap and cheerful to some degree, but they are quite reasonable.

If you're looking for notes for songs, is a good site to start - it helps to start learning tunes you actually know to listen to already.

There are GUITAR PRO tabs, which often have bass, drums etc that you can play along to on the above site too. To play them back you'd need Guitar Pro which is a really great learning tool for guitar.

Hope this helps.

If you don't want sore fingers tips for a few week's electric...Both are basically the same. The chords, notes, fingering...There's not much difference apart from the sound...
