for me he gotta go. I'm a staunch 'Pool supporter

things off the pitch are far from ideal with Hicks and Gillett, lack of transfer funds etc.

but i've just about had enough of Benitez

he's had a ton of money to spend until now, spent it mostly unwisely, and this season has constantly moaned about off the pitch issues instead of sticking to concentrating on what goes on on the pitch. he's had a defeatist, negative attitude, and this is not good for the club. it would have been so much easier to take positives from a team that narrowly missed out on the league title last year, the nucleus of which is still there (Alonso and that spanish right back who's name i cant remember OUT, and Aquilani and Johnson IN)

also, Alonso would never have left if Benitez hadnt courted Gareth Barry for as long as he did and made Alonso feel unwanted

we've had injuries this season, but that cant be used as an excuse. united, chelsea and arsenal have also had injuries

7th place is unacceptable. obviously, things off the pitch have to be sorted. but things on it too - Benitez must go

i'd happily take Avram Grant as a replacement, keep our top players at all costs, get rid of the dead wood, and get in one or two squad players that can perform at the highest level
