First, this place is better than any Comedy club I have ever been to. The personalities here are unmatched by any experience I have. I’m thrilled I found this site.

I don’t do it very often any more but I woke up this morning with the Demon on my mind. Then out of nowhere came a phone call from a very old friend asking how I was and she just wanted me to know she was thinking about me. God sometimes I just have to sit back and wonder what kind of powers are at work around us. Damn I needed that call.

Do yourself and someone on a huge favor today. Take five minutes and pick up the phone and call someone you know who has Cancer and tell them your thinking about them. They just might need it.

I will never be able to adequately thank the people who have brought humor into my life for it has certainly been needed at times. Finally, just wanted all you to know I have now added all you to that list. Thanks Everyone.

This is ONE of the nicest threads I have come across on this site and I have been here for a few years.
I phone people who are sick or go to visit them because I KNOW that some people are uncomfortable talking to the ill.
Great Testimonial!!!!handshake hug thumbs up

My thoughts are with you and your family. Feather take comfort in this. You made his difficult journey much more bearable. Thank god he had you. I have met many who have no family. Time will slowly restore your life. Never to what it was but it will allow you to focus on the great life you had together. Grab the phone my man you know better than most. Thankshandshake

Ehrichardson, I have cancer (cureable), had it 2 other times so I do understand coming from the Cancer capital of the world, I am told, so it is very easy for us (from my corner of the world) to talk about it.

I have a friend who lost the lower part of his leg and a few fingers from a blast of electricity at his job and he told me when he healed and came home from hospital that when he went into work to see 'The Guys'--they scattered away.confused Hell, I wrote to him when he was far away in the hospital and when I found out which leg--I kicked him where it wouldn't hurt and I told him to be thankful he was left with the most important 3 fingers.wink

My uncle is Bipolar and will now spend the rest of his days in a mental ward because of his suicidal tendacies and he doesn't get too many visitors beecause of WHERE he is.
I go there to visit him and it makes my day because we laugh that hard--I don't want to go home and I can't wait to bring him his 'half an egg'. (Something he asked for while having his frist breakdown.) I say "PASS THE KINDNESS ON"!!!!!!!!!cheering cheering

Venusruled: Glad you are well, Eric! I have such a belief that laughter is a miracle healer. Let's keep the laughter going...we never know who is watching around here.

I don't know anyone who is ill right now, but I will remember your words if the day comes when that call is needed. Thank you for the lovely post, it is helpful to us all.

Venus always a joy and much laughter when you join in. I'm a fan. Somethimes honey a short laugh make a long day shrink in size and I can then say "Ah hell wasn't that Bad" Thank you
