firsttimerhere: A very gud mate of mine moved to england 6 months ago,during this time we chatted at least 4 nights aweek and txted every day, yesterday to my surprise he arrived at my door.last night we went for a lovely meal in dublin and went to howth to look at the view.it was magical then he told me he was in love with me and cant bare to be with out me any more.
i was shell shocked i do love him to bits and missed him like crazy when hes not around but i dont know if the love i feel for his is just a frindship love or smnt more.

Well I dont know about other people on here but I dont kiss and cuddle my mates when Im watching tv or at any other time ( apart from the hi /bye brief hug ) sounds like the boundry lines are a little bit blurred and you've gone beyond the friendship stage imo

LL totally agree with every word, however i would add to the Op DONT go there one thing to be very good friends and maybe you fancy each other or its just him who knows but to go beyond the friendship boundary can have an adverse affect on the future friendship.

I dont think you should act on this. to act on it would debase the friendship forever, his love is intense but dont let it cajole you down the wrong path if you loved him like that you would know.
