Your not just a pretty face then blipper, agree totally...I'll attempt to answer your question of why Irish people are against Israel so much, simply because Irish people in general have a tendancy to believe what their told, but it's not just us, the rest of Eureope have fallen victim to the bureaucracy that the elitist of the EU have created. Hamas being an Islamic Resistance Movement says it all really and having been voted in by the Palestinine people, its hard to understand why Europe has taken such a pro muslim terrorist stance and consider Israel to be the aggressive state in this situation. When clearly Israel has done nothing but attempt to protect it's citizen and fundamentally it's religon from a terrorist organisation vent on obliterating the Jews. Anyone with a mild bit of knowledge of the situation would agree with Israel and it's actions. However such is not the case. To tackle the questioned posed by the OP, we must examine Europe as a whole. The Jewish population of Europe is decreasing and the Muslim population of Europe is increasing, therin lies an answer. Although speculative on my part, I will continue...9/11 brought about a fear of Islamic extremism. The Americans being the rhetoric of anti-terroism suffered as a result. The passive nature of the UN on all past wars and a flawed logic that all conflicts can be resolved diplomatically has led us to side with a terroist state in this case. The ultimate fear been the calamity of suicide bombers on the streets of Europe if we are to be seen taking sides with Israel. By 2050 it was estimated that France would be half Muslim, actions have been taken to avoid this and rightly so although not widely known. Of course oil comes into it as per usual Europes over reliance on importing the black stuff puts us in a predicement, it has been used in the past to punish states for policies the effects of such are far more detramental to europeans than the U.S who's import from the Middle-East is only half. Summising why the elite in Europe side with the Palestinines is not difficult, Figuring out why the ordinary joe soaps agree with the elitist is not...I can only guess that the average joe soap doesn't know what it is about, except for the images of a peace flotila been hijacked by Irael and the media propaganda that ensued. The ship didn't follow Israel's instructions and such met the consequences of a state acting to protect itslef...This whole ignorant attitude of we're for peace and we're a better class than you that us Western European posess is more in line with an agressive dominant than Israel...
