steve6610: Dont really know, thinking on the lines of telling a person to hang on how many phases of the moon are there
Hahahaha.. the correct answer is...A component of the brain called the amygdala (uh-mig-duh-luh) which is responsible for elements of learned fear and reactions to it, sends impulses to the frontal lobe (planning and organization). The process in its entirety takes approximately 52-56 seconds, depending on the subject. The phrase "wait a minute" is in response to implementation of that process. One minute allows the subject to "think out" the long term effects of a response to the initial stimuli.
There are 8 phases of the moon.
How long does the moon take to go through one phase?

Thankyou for the answer I did find that fascinating.
it takes approx 29.5 days for its full cycle of phases so approx 3.5 days per phase.

It's hard to answer this question because it changes, depending on the positions of the planets in their orbits..but at any given time, Venus, Mars, or even Mercury might be the closest planet to Earth.

Apparently its mars, but you are correct it does alter constantly with the orbit, including at a particular phase of its orbit Mercury is farther away from the sun than Venus.

Our knowledge as to what causes us to dream is limited to the fact that we do dream, and that dreams occur during the REM phase of sleep..Many different theories have emerged to help explain the mystery of why we dream. ...
