I love this book and movie!!! Does anyone know the reasoning behind Gatsbys motives?? I just did this story for college, and I am very into it right now. Daisy was more guilty than the book led on and Nick was my favorite character. Anyone have any thoughts??
OK, so no one is interested, but it is amazing how things were so differant back in the "gay" 20's... I like how Fitzgerald made it seem as though gatsby were such a great man when he was a liar and he cheated the market and really wasnt so great nick was a commendable character ok im done lol
Well, NaughtyGirl528, you know that Fitzgerald made a start in life from St. Paul. We now have the Fitzgerald Theater from whence you can hear the dulcet sounds of Garrison Keillor every week. When the theater, formerly known as the World Theater, was renamed, Garrison held a public reading of the ‘Great Gatsby’, allowing members of the public to come in and read as little (or as much) of the book out loud as they liked.
