But when a women puts shes looking for tall and handsome its kinda puts me down a bit. But at least they're being upfront with what they want.

So let me get this straight..you think of yourself as tall but dcn't consider yourself handsome?? I think theres a self-esteem issue there. Woman like confidence..be confident in yourself and your height won't matter.

When i was younger i perferred my men to be a little taller because i wore heels all the time,now i find i don't wear them as much any more,,but still have some if i need them.I think it depends on the persons involved,im 5'5 so most are taller then me any way.You are a cute guy,life is to short to worry about the small stuff,shes out there some where.

The alpha male issue is much more than stature and confidence would be more important. You are a handsome young man who is comcerned about what the girls want and that is nice but
it should be more important to you what you want and go for it!
