It wouldn't be a MEET meet if you know what I mean ... and I don't see why it wouldn't work as you could have a few drinks before or after. It's just less pressure I think

Good thinkin Bat Girl! IFI would be a great venue, depending what's on. No pressure just hangin out and seeing a movie, few beers, nibbles...what's not to like

I think a lot of people (me included) are a bit freaked out by the idea of a big meet and going 'cold' into a social unknown... at least if there is a film involved there isn't as much pressure and you are guaranteed to have something to talk about

One of the first dates my parents went on was to the cinema ... my Mum was sitting between my Dad and a randomer .... there was a lot of leg stroking going on .... it took her about 10 minutes before she realised it was the randomer and not my Dad!!!
