I was thinking it might be nice to do a casual 'cinema meet' in Dublin.... just a once -off thing at first... but if it was successful we could make it a monthly event.

We could do a poll to decide what movie to see ... and go for a drink before or after. It might suit people who would be freaked out by the thought of going to a big meet .... less pressure involved, more of a casual thing. What do you think? As long as everyone kept their hands to themselves in the dark cinema it could work! laugh

It wouldn't be a MEET meet if you know what I mean ... and I don't see why it wouldn't work as you could have a few drinks before or after. It's just less pressure I think

I was thinking IFI or Lighthouse .... thumbs up

I think a lot of people (me included) are a bit freaked out by the idea of a big meet and going 'cold' into a social unknown... at least if there is a film involved there isn't as much pressure and you are guaranteed to have something to talk about grin

You can rest assured there will be no wandering of my hands near anyone laugh I operate a strict 'hands where you can see them' policy in the cinema laugh
