Now, leaving home for a couple weeks he entrusted all in the care of his keeper. Upon his return he asked 'how is the cat?' the keeper none hesitantly told him 'the cat's dead'. 'Oh my gosh' said Salmon 'you’re cruel'. 'But I didn't kill him' said the keeper. Salmon said sadly "you could have told me the cat was on the roof, then another day you told me the fire men tried to get him down but he fell then finally you could say the vet did his best but he never made it". About two months later Salmon went away again. When he returned he asked the keeper how was his mother to which the keeper replied, "Your mother is on the roof".
