I am sure there is a proper word for people afraid of snow but too lazy to google it ...

But seriously I was in college today and the minute the snow started to fall it was like a fr. ted moment (in my mind it was when they were all escaping the plane) very dramatic teacher holding door open sheilding his face from the blizzard while student ran for their lifes from the school and the panic really set in when they had to drive up a little hill.... I stoof out side wrapped jacket around me lit a cig and just watched the headless chicken run around pointing at the hill .. some even were mouthing the words to the hail mary.

(no they dont teach me paragraphs in college meh) so as the day continued they have shut down some dept in the local hospital ... now for those not from cork it snowed for about 6 and a half minutes! and its 4 degrees out side. I had to collect my mother from work (because they closed early) and she said she saw two cars hit each other ... the roads are fine!! i didnt come across one slippery bit ... meh rant over but i do think people are over reacting down here! (oh and dont forget any elderly neighbours do your good deed and pop in make sure they have milk and a bag of coal)

soooo true im justing speaking for my own county but yeah the whole exaggeration went too far.. imagine of we got the snow in westmeath.. the "chaos" would be comical pure photo snapping moments haha

I saw a 10 renault in a car park 2 super value n it took him 8 tries to turn the corner.. now there was no ice n no cars around him..
