Poem title: True Meaning

These words that I've written
Are written, just for you
You know who you are
And you know every word I say is true.

You're not beautifully broken.
The true meanings of those words
Has never been spoken

Every time when I'm with you
You look at me with your beautiful eyes.
You're smiling, but is it a smile
Or is it just a disguise.

Sometimes I wonder if you cry at night.
Is it because others may think that you're broken
And maybe you feel that their right.
Is that why you want your feelings to be left unspoken.

It doesn't matter what others think
Or what they have to say.
When you walk by, they can't even blink
They just wish they had it your way.

I want to tell you everything that you do for me
Tell you the true beauty that I see.
Tell you how you make me feel so free.
Tell you the love I have for you is as big as the sea.

I feel you as a woman
A woman of all seasons
You have touched my heart in many ways
And here are the reasons.

Every time when you hug me
I feel a warmth so divine.
A feeling of love and being free
Is the feeling I get when you're near me.

Looking deep into your eyes
My heart has taken its toll
And through your eyes I feel
I can see your very soul.

Your soul is warm and caring
Yours and yours alone
Unmatched by none
To me this is shown.

Your hair is soft and beautiful
Like your heart, so well refined
For others to not see this
Surely, they must be blind.

Your heart is made of silk
Bordered by the finest of lace
It floats upon the wind
Full of love and kindness I embrace.

To hold you close
Is a feeling that I'll never forget
To tell you my true feelings
Is something I'll never regret.

You are my special friend
You're the one I will always love and care
The beauty you have
No one could ever compare.

So please, never again say you're beautifully broken
Because the true meanings of those words
Has never been spoken

If you feel like your about to cry at night
Just remember I will always be there to hold you tight
You are the true meaning of beautiful
And the true meaning have been spoken
You are beautiful…But you're not broken.



I wrote this poem for a special friend of mine. She was feeling down and she feels that life has given up on her. I just wanted her to know that I will always be there for her no matter how hard things get. There are so many meanings to the words beautifully broken. Her meaning was life did a perfect job on tearing her up inside and showing her she wasn't worth it. She is beautiful but sometimes she feels like she is trying to hard for no reason at all. I'm sure many people have been through this before. There will always be the good and the bad. Life is worth living no matter how hard things get.

Very beautiful poem indeed and I'm sure the person it's meant for will appreciate the kind words. You seem like a very good friend to her and hope she realizes how lucky she is. Life definitely is worth living no matter how bad things are. Deep down I'm sure she knows it too.
