we went out friday night with a friend of ours to see a local band on friday.
it was fun. our friend and her boyfriend are friends with the band and were called up to sing a couple songs. there was a bikini contest that none of us saw, because as sson as it started, the stage area was instantly swarmed with tall people standing to get a better view. there was a group of about ten gay guys aggressively dancing, that should have required a ten foot radius per dancer.
at the end, we said goodnoght to the band, and this girl walks up to me and starts talking. i was just starting to get the feeling something wasn't right, when my brother practically runs up to take over the conversation. he is socially agressive.
i chuckled and backed away slightly. she kept trying to pull me back into the conversation. i just smiled and nodded, and continued to listen to the conversation for a moment or two, until i was certian something wasn't right.
the birthday girl still wanted to party, and by this point, my brother had invited her to come with. we just had to drive two blocks to get her car.
following her directions, it took 25 minutes to drive two blocks. i couldn't even begin to describe the antics that took place, but i really didn't want this girl knowing where we lived. she still kept trying to engage me in conversation. i was polite, but short. thankfully, she decided an hour was too far to drive at that time of night.
we get to her hotel, and i get out to let her out. she tried to grab me and kiss me, i pulled away, and she got PISSED.
my bro got teased most of the way home. the birthday girl kept calling her his girlfriend. that really irritated him. it was fun to watch, because teasing usually never gets to him.
i am learning to trust my gut feeling a lot more these days.
