L1977C: Im just thinking its ok meeting half way but if you were to date more would you not get pissed off going back and forth?

Well i went out with a girl from Limerick for 8 months best time i ever had and we travel up and down to see other every weekend or every second weekend depending if we had stuff planned with our friends the only annoying thing thing about it was the cold weather during the winter but everything else was great had a great laugh best time ever shame it didnt last it just fizzeld out in the end.

Im just wondering does the distance just get in the way in the end especially if youve commitments and wouldnt be prepared to move???

If I was interested in a woman, I would have no problem in travelling to meet her.
I'm talking about Ireland of course.

I have to admit it did sometimes and we tried not to let it effect us to much but we did in keep in contact the whole time with eachother and also had alot of trust in the relationship.

If you are meeting for the first time.....you both should try and meet half way I think....it's only fair.

On the subject of long distance relationships...I had one in the recent past.....it proved too difficult to keep going....we were 3 hours apart....and I did most/all of the travelling....cause he was tied up at weekends.

When you work all week.....it's difficult to travel away every weekend.....sometimes you just want to chill in your own house.
