jimbo79: i think jesus did exist, not as we know him form the bible but i do think he exixted, he was a jew i think alot of people forget that he was not tyring to form a new religion rather trying to make his own more compassionate, and because of that he was executed, the romans carried it out but it was an internal jewish issue
Well the Romans never wanted to execute Jesus Pilate at he time sent him back three times to be tried under Jewish laws at the time there was a strong revolt against the Romans so the Jewish Leader thought it would make the Romans happy by executing Jesus under the Roman law.
Jesus wouldn't of been crucified on a hill it would of more likely of been in quarry outside Jerusalem which was common pratice at that time.

biggles90000: Just after reading a brilliant boook about Jesus some of the facts in it were really interesting and changed my views about him completly what are your views and beieves on Jesus and what do you think he looked liked mayb we can get an intereting debate going on the subject.
i read a book years ago about jesus and god and all that kind of stuff ! it was called the bible,liked the part where jesus turned water into wine,nice party trick

The prophet Isaiah confirms His ordinary appearance -"He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him, nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him. also Corinthians 11:14, Paul wrote, "if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him." It's quite unthinkable that Paul would have made such a statement if Jesus Christ had long hair. How could anything about The Lord be called disgraceful?

My own views on Jesus are that he was the son of God sent to teach us to treat other people as we would like them to treat us and just be good in our thoughts and actions,, simple message really but if more people lived their lives by his teaching the world would be a far better place.
As for his physical appearance, he would have looked pretty much like the people of that region today,, sallow skinned and dark haired.
and short hair of course !!!
