anniebaby: ok seeing as we have people from all over Ireland on here got a question for everyone

I have o2 mobile broadband and it is giving me hell at the moment cutting off for no reason or wont load pages

just wondering can anyone tell me what 3 broadband is like

they have the contract for the national broadband scheme and we have a mast near where i live
when i went on to the site 2day its saying i dont have coverage even tho its less than half a mile down the road from me

be nice to hear how people find it and if its worth looking into

oh god dont go near 3 they are a disaster!! I was with them for about two years I was constantly loosing signal and sometimes had to go a week or so with no internet and anytime I rang them they couldnt give me an answer as to what was happening.

I am now with upc broadband which I have found super fast and never any problems with.

But its funny you were saying lately your internet is cutting off and stuff and so is a few people that i know and even my internet is the same this last week or so. I wonder if it has anything to do with the huge fires and destroying cables and what not.

Hi Anniewave
I changed from o2 to three almost two years ago and there is no comparison. Three is way better, I get coverage everywhere, even in places where I could never get a signal with o2.
I had a few glitches in the beginning but rarely ever since. Their customer service is absolute crap and you will be pulling your hair out by the handful if you ever have to deal with them. Maybe just go for pay as you go rather than a contract if you are worried about coverage. I have to say that my experience of them has been grand regarding coverage, o2 was awful and the strange thing about "mobile" broadband, they told me that they only have to guarantee you coverage at your actual address...not much mobile about thatfrustrated
Hope you get sorted.bouquet
