LiamMG: was taking a look at some of the other forums in this place and apart from the internaionl one the irish one has the most threads the usa one is broken down into states.
the irish forum has 280something pages of thread and other places wouldnt even have 100

Tell me about it. UK forums are extremely quiet & the USA one is a complete joke. Some states haven't had a single post this year if memory serves me well
You have to wonder if "staying in isn't the new going out" for a lot of people (myself included)...
With more and more reasons not to venture out in the evenings (late working, pub prices, alcahol legals etc) peeps are keeping in touch through web and text...
I bet you Ireland has the highest saturation of texting in europe...
So it follows that the IE forums will mirror that...
