I sent my application for first time passport in the first week in May , at the time there was an 11week wait through PP express so just went through standard route . What's the longest you've waited for a passport folks ?
Always used the Passport Express, for my own passport and the kids. Never waited more than a week.

I hope you reported it stolen at least!!!!
If someone uses your passport to commit fraud or gain entry into a country illegally, and you haven't reported it lost/stolen, you could end up in real trouble. Your passport is a legal document.

i did, yrs ago,, the interview was in NSY. can't remember if i got the passport back or went missing in the post

I got mine in two days, had to spend nearly a full day in there and then go back the next day just to collect it
