When you're single, does it offend you to recieve a wedding invitation without a plus one on it?

For me, it depends, if it's family I don't mind so much, as you know pretty much everyone there. In the past i've received invites that include a guest..Travelled to Kerry..only knew the bride! when we got to the reception, we were seated at opposite sides of the room!! laugh Will never understand the logic!

No..but my date was! laugh

But it did make me really think about going to weddings of people I don't know too well. Because i'm usually singing at them, I think they feel they have to invite me, which I never expect considering the costs they have etc. Best weddings i've been to have been family/close friends.

The last wedding I went to was my younger bro's , I didn't have a plus one then but I think for sheer devilment I'd ask somebody to any future wedding which didn't extend such a welcome .

The more the merrier I say devil laugh

laugh Bridezilla would have a meltdown!!laugh

I do think it's a tricky one though. Some people see it as an unwanted pressure to find a date if they've been given a plus one invite..then again it sucks being the only singleton at the table..laugh
