leigh2154: I have to agree with you Galrads...An American living in France bashing America....what's wrong with this picture?
Americans who have experienced liberty in the past allowing their rights to be stripped away from them one by one without even saying a word in protest.

There would be nothing wrong with the picture if it were true...only a guess, but I think you are in France for one particular reason and we both know what that reason is...(this is based on many, many things you post Ray)...I am also guessing, if you were to be completely honest with yourself, you would admit that your reason(s) have less to do with American "letting" you down and more to do with dropping your own balls...Please excuse the pun, none was intended....
Regardless, you proudly state your are from the USA, now living in France, and you bash your mother country...I take offense, great offense......If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything...we have heard it all a million times anyway...You are boring and rude and you know it...
Albertaghost: Like agreements where oil contracts go to non US entities?
Seems Iraq was free enough to cut the US out of that one.
Yes, indeed. Globalism is all about plundering national wealth. The mega-rich are more than happy to use their companies in countries where taxes are lower to do their plundering. It's still the US taxpayers paying for the occupation, whether any benefits ever come to the US or not. What do the bankers care, as long as they get their profits.

Whatever Ray. The Iraqi government, freely elected, made free choices to exclude the US out of the oil contracts just as they freely petition the UN from time to time, to extend the SOF.
Hence, the US is certainly not dominating nor occupying Iraq.
