I believe in being up front and honest with people sometimes to my own detriment. However we are human and as such we have all lied. So when is it ok/better to tell a fib? Has lying ever gotten you into trouble?

Yup, lying has gotten me into trouble when i was younger, but i somehow always managed to lie my way back out of it. Don't pull stunts like that now though, i'd rather be as up front and honest as i can too.

i think everyone tells little white lies to get out of trouble or something you don't want to do
but i generally don't lie as i wouldn't remember what i said

i think it might be ok to tell a small white lie if your trying to let someone down gently if your not into them
