I watch sattelite on occasions, Films on DVD the rest of the time... Should we do away with the outdated TV licence and go down the road of a Media licence?... Should it be a case of those who use, pay?....I believe so.... RTE get revenue from advertising in the same way that TV3 and TG4 do, Why should the national broadcaster be singled out for special treatment when good programming (especially ILR) makes a good showing without public funding... This thread can go any route regarding licencing and broadcasting practices... What are your views?....
