Sunny143christchurch, Canterbury New Zealand112 Threads 20 Polls 1,093 PostsAt home nobody understands Me.Every thinks in their own terms,no one has any concern for Me.They try to rule me as I am the youngest one.I am 25 and still they treat me like a kid.I have my own head,and I want them to understand that I am an individual.I get frustrated with my life quite often!!If I allow them rule me like this I would become nothing than a puppet.Do you think I should get separated and live on my own terms.

Its your culture Sunny, obay parents and never argue.I am afraid you cannot do anything just to agree.
I would want for you to wish some indipendence on your personal desicions, life, love but I am afraid parents will be always controling that.

Being the youngest of Six boys ....I can feel your pain. I am 53 and had this problem years ago.I will tell you that separating yourself from your family will only hurt you even more.
What I did was voiced my concerns about the issue....thanked them for their suggestions ....and then did as I saw fit ....right or wrong it is my job to decide what direction I wish to go.

Yeah I know that its our culture,but I love independence,If I obey them I cannot fulfill my dreams,they are the biggest hindrance for my growth.They don't let me follow my own path.I get so stressed out some times.I have lost terribly in the field which they forced me into,and most imp is I am very unhappy with what is happening with my life.I would want for you to wish some indipendence on your personal desicions, life, love but I am afraid parents will be always controling that.

well,I am glad that I have some one who agrees with me.Its really ridiculous when the major decisions of your life are'nt made by yourself.Its nothing but living like a corpse.I wish every parent in this world is broadminded.I am not offending any parent but I would definitely give my child the freedom of choosing his/her own path.I can only guide them,but would never play with their life,afterall its their own life.I will tell you that separating yourself from your family will only hurt you even more.
