Why I love Apple computers (18)
TEASE: Ok lately my trackpad on my mac has been working very badly
the pointer jumps all over the place and clicks when
I dont want it to very annoying to say the least .
also all the edges of my macbook have been cracking and breaking on the topcase surrounding the keyboard.
This is because my mac is fairly old and well worn .
I bought it in 2007 .
I rang the apple store in Limerick this morning
and the girl on the phone told me to bring it in to them
and they would replace it free of charge .
I was delighted to hear that as I was looking on ebay
and they were between 70 and 200 euros to buy new
depending on where I get them from .
200 would be brand new still in the wrapper
and 70 would be off a faulty mac .
I asked one of the mac genius's could he order the
part over the phone so I could collect it and
replace the topcase myself and he said its no problem Ive often opened my macbook and taken it apart myself
to install different things and for maintenance
and cleaning of the motherboard and fan etc ....
So doing the installation will be like water off a ducks back to me and I wont have to wait 2 or 3 days to get my macbook back Theres a lot to be said for customer service like that My mac is 5 years over its warranty and they still
look after things like this Im very happy with Apple today

it is hard to get good customer service though so fair playi invested in a mac about a year ago... best decision ever!!!!!!!!!

macbook perfect for what i use the internet for.. movies, music, general browsing...
i managed to find a license code online (shhhhh) for iworks so didn't have to pay for that and my god, pages beats microsoft word hands down any day!!! i do a lot of writing so it's worked out well for me.

light weight and straightforward
I have the black macbook I asked the apple genius
could they get me a white topcase instead of a black one
but they wont do that raging I was
I was planning on putting my black keys from this
topcase on the white topcase .

I'm not really a techie mate. I just downloaded it last night. I put it into iTunes and then plugged in my iPhone and dragged the file into the phone symble and it now sits in my iBook application lol. Supposed to be a great read and its nearly 20 euro to buy Not a pdf

ah no, you're better of tease... don;t like the mixed look at all!!! mine's a lovely white that just shines and looks funky.. i loves it

cool... i'm ok for now anyway... still a massive life on my battery time... it's only a year old..

my battery is still going but the batteries for these
macbooks have been known to be problematic they swell up
but 4-5 years outta 1 aint bad
this is a great app
when you open it it tells you everything about your mac
very handy if you need any info on your mac
