Could you befriend a lady of 70 years of age? What she would need to be like? And 25 years old? Or would you think that a friendship is possible with the older lady and not with the younger? I have had some male friends in their 20s, but somehow I think it would not have worked with these in their 30s, because I would perceive them and they me as potential mates. The 20 something years old guys were better friends - they appreciated my female qualities and intellect but did not attempt to seduce me, and same for me. So, it all depends, it is possible but with conditions.

Of course they can just be friends. I have lots of male friends and there is nothing more going on than just friendship. I am kind of thought of like one of the boys so to speak.
