Good to see another cat lover.
I have six little friends, all of whom are rescues.
I began with one kitten I found abandoned and sick on a street. Abandoned, sick and homeless cats just seemed to know where to go.
My two dogs were the same: abandoned and starving.
Animals seem to know when they meet someone who will help them.

I'm waiting for a call from my Vet....
One of the cats has been missing for 2 weeks...
I looked in _Every_ possible hiding place I could think of...
Walked the neighborhood 3 times, calling him...
I found him last Tuesday...
In the basement...next to the dryer...under a shelf...

Devastated

Oh dear how sad 
I rescued a kitten last year ... she had a crushed leg and a broken tail. Had to have her leg amputated but she is coping really well and lives a full life.
I worked for a National Animal Charity for 15 yrs. Saw some very sad cases but a lot of very rewarding happy endings.
